Descriptions
One sentence
OpenDisk is a free, open-source disk space analyser for Mac that maps your drive as an interactive sunburst chart and scans 1 TB in about 17 seconds.
Paragraph
OpenDisk shows what’s filling up a Mac and helps clear it out. It maps a drive as an interactive sunburst chart next to a Finder-style list, so the biggest folders stand out at a glance. It reads whole directories at once with a low-level macOS system call, which lets it scan 1 TB in about 17 seconds, and it shows results while it scans. Files can be gathered in a Collector and moved to the Bin in one step. OpenDisk is free and open source under the MIT licence, collects no data, and runs on macOS 14 or later in 39 languages.
